This position serves as a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician for Mountain Aviation. The Technician will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining our Metroliner aircraft  in accordance with Mountain Aviation General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and all applicable FARs. This includes maintenance, inspection and repair of the company’s aircraft, special tools, and ground support equipment; work order preparation, review, and completion. Safety will be the primary consideration while insuring compliance with all State and Federal regulations & company
policies. There will be opportunities to deploy on 30-60 day travel missions for certain projects. The Technician must be available to travel as needed for this position.

Compensation: $75,000.00/year - $100,000.00/year, depending on experience, plus per diem while traveling.

• Inspect, maintain, and repair Mountain Aviation aircraft in accordance with Mountain Aviation GMM and GOM when applicable; coordinate and document all such actions with lead technicians and DOM as applicable.
• Ensure the cleanliness of work areas and the return of equipment and tools at the end of the work shift.
• Ensure that the hangar, workshops, and other areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Assist Line Department personnel with ground handling and servicing of aircraft when requested.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of ground support equipment when requested.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive and cooperative teamwork environment with flight crews, department managers, line personnel, and company employees.
• Maintain knowledge of flight schedules on a daily basis and ensure production schedules meet delivery dates.
• Secure hangar, ramp, aircraft and fuel farm at end of shift, when required.
• Complete work orders and account for parts and billable time.
• Ability to attend required training events on airframe, engines, and equipment.
• Assist the Maintenance lead technicians and/or managers when required with additional duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be available to do 2 week on 2 week off rotations traveling to different sites. During international projects, deployments may extend to 30-60 days on/off. 
• High school diploma, or possession of a G.E.D. certificate.
• Current US Airframe and Powerplant mechanic’s certificate meeting the requirements of, but not limited to, FAR Part 65.83.  IA a plus.
• Must be able to travel on 30-60 day missions.
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday, unless aircraft is deployed.
• Must be willing to travel up to 100%
• Possession of an adequate set of aircraft mechanic's hand tools.
• Must have current, and valid Driver’s License.
• Must have current, and valid US Passport.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years working on Metroliner SA227
• 5+ years TPE331 experience
• At least 1 year FAR Part 135.411(a)(2) aircraft maintenance experience
• A least 1 year Garrett engine experience
• Able to reside/relocate to Denver, Colorado
• CAMP experience 
• FAR Part 91 experience 
• Avionics background
• Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels.
• Must be able to exercise good judgement in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety.
• Must have problem solving and organizational skills.
• Must be able to read and understand Company and Manufacturer Manuals.
• Must be able to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised at any time.
• Must be able to lift and move items of 70 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to bend and/or squat repeatedly and stand for long periods of time.
