Manage all day-to-day operations pertaining to the materials department across the Wheels Up enterprise to provide premium service to internal and external customers.

  • Manage Materials personnel and activities in the day-to-day tasks of the materials operation for the Supply Chain function within Wheels Up.
  • Maintain high service levels to internal/external customers regarding Stockroom operational hours, service window response, inventory availability, timely shipping and receiving of product, etc..
  • Coordinate with and communicate to Maintenance Control, Technicians, AOMs, Maintenance Planning, Suppliers, etc on the status of parts orders including delivery/tracking information.
  • Develop, implement, maintain and audit Policies, Procedures and Work Processes to ISO Standards.
  • Maintain a management cockpit of critical operational data and metrics. Provide regular reporting to upper management.
  • Update and maintain inventory tracking program.
  • Maintain stockroom(s) organization to high standards utilizing latest methodologies and technology.
  • Accountable for the accuracy and integrity of Wheels Up Physical inventory. Perform perpetual and regularly scheduled cycle counts of inventory.
  • Responsible for the quick and timely receiving, packaging, distribution and shipping of parts and materials.
  • Responsible for receiving inspections of incoming inventory in accordance with company General Maintenance Manual and FAA regulations.
  • Responsible for the efficient traffic of our shipments to get to destination in the quickest and most efficient method.
  • Ensure that all ITAR shipments are in accordance with Company Procedures and US Government regulations.
  • Ensure that all hazardous material shipments are accordance with Company Procedures and CFR regulations.
  • Manage exchange cores and returned parts in the most efficient manner possible to ensure the prompt return to stock or return to vendor.


  • High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years industry experience, preferred.
  • 10+ years supervisory experience.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Effective verbal, telephone, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Proven, strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and project/program management skills required.
  • Excellent computer skills. Use of MS Office as well as other necessary software.
  • Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels.
  • Use of personal computer
  • Travel to Wheels Up Facilities and Sites on a regular basis
  • Must be able to lift 70 lbs., bend, stand, and squat for extended periods of time.
  • Forklift qualification required.
