  • Maintain safety protocol as well as training and guidance in relation to: Customer Service, Safety, Security, Avgas Fueling, Jet Fueling, De-Fueling, Reception Counter Operations, Hazardous Material Awareness, Right To Know, De-Icing, Towing, Ramp Awareness, Baggage Handling, Dangerous Goods, International Garbage, FTR 101, ATA 103, NFPA 407, Fuel Farm Management, Receiving Fuel, Hangar Stacking, and Recurrent Training.
  • Lead and direct Line Service Technicians.
  • Create a positive work environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and good will in all areas.
  • Perform both public and non-public contact with crew members, pilots, and passengers.
  • Load and unload luggage, golf clubs, and freight.
  • Clean, marshal, and push back aircraft by tug and/or hand.
  • Operate motor vehicles including various fuel trucks, aircraft tugs, belt loaders, de-ice trucks, and forklift.
  • Fuel aircraft in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform quality control checks on equipment and fuel.
  • Haul equipment as necessary to clean and/or maintain aircraft.
  • Assist with all operational aspects of the fixed base operation and non-safety sensitive operations in hanger.
  • Maintain and strive to exceed customer services standards.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and professional development to line technicians with an individual and team focus.
  • Use appropriate methods to help build a cohesive team, facilitating the completion of team goals.
  • Assist with performance evaluations and administer counseling, commendation, as necessary for all line technicians.
  • Participate in scheduled team meetings.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the Manager of Fixed Base Operations or higher authority.


  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Supervisory experience and office knowledge preferred.
  • Good driving record.
  • Strong customer service skills, professional attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis.
  • Ability to bend and or squat repeatedly for aircraft operational hook up.
  • Ability to deice aircraft using high pressure hoses.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Maintain a well-groomed appearance and meet uniform appearance standards.
