Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing 

In this role, Wheels Up is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager – Internal Communications with exceptional writing and communication skills. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Internal Communications and be responsible for developing and executing impactful communication strategies that drive employee engagement, reinforce company culture and support organizational goals. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience in corporate communications and employee engagement, with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives and manage multiple communication channels. 

Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions) 

• Develop and execute internal communication strategies that align with company goals and enhance employee engagement. 

• Create, write and manage content for internal communication channels, including email announcements, newsletters, video content, all-hands meetings and Slack. 

• Advise business partners on effective internal communication strategies, ensuring alignment with company culture and priorities. 

• Drive storytelling initiatives that highlight company milestones, culture and employee achievements. 

• Ensure consistency in messaging across all internal platforms and touchpoints. 

• Measure the impact of communications initiatives, leveraging analytics and feedback to enhance effectiveness. 

• Support the production of virtual and in-person town hall meetings, including managing speakers, materials, prep calls, event invites and developing a promotional campaign in collaboration with cross-functional teams. 

• Support the administrative needs of the department as necessary. 

What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements 

We’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do:  

• 5-7 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications or a related field. 

• A creative communicator with a passion for storytelling and creating engaging content. 

• Exceptional writing and communication skills. 

• Proven experience creating effective, innovative communication channels and programs. 

• Experience communicating and collaborating with a diverse workforce, including employees working both on the ground and in the air. 

• Strong understanding of digital communication channels and tools. 

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

• Excellent organizational and project management skills. 

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

What We Offer: Salary Range & Benefits 

At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The salary for this role ranges from $105,000/Yr. to $140,000/Yr., depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, which rewards individual and organizational performance.
