Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing

Wheels Up is looking for a world-class Fleet Quoting Associate to join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals, fueled by the most powerful brand in private aviation, as we continue our mission of democratizing the private aviation space through cutting-edge technology, innovative products and service offerings. The objective of Fleet Quoting is to capitalize on demand outside of traditional membership program offerings. This position will be located in either of our offices (New York City, NY or Chamblee, GA).

Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Achieve team Key Performance Indicators (utilization, efficiency, and revenue) and monitor how decision-making influences each metric
  • Understand individual flight costs and network revenue models
  • Intimate knowledge of demand already booked in order to sell around it
  • Appreciate the need to sell specific demand to complement the needs of the given day
  • Remain cognizant of special events which may cause a spike in demand into a certain airport or region
  • Recognize seasonal travel patterns both geographically and by each cabin class
  • Always being able to justify your pricing
  • Stays in continuous contact with scheduling and operational groups to ensure feasibility and overall success of trip completion is reliable
  • Multitasking several trip inquiries at one time
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all clients and brokers
  • Answer incoming calls and e-mails regarding charter trips in a timely and accurate manner
  • Know and explain the terms and conditions of the Wheels Up charter contract
  • Maintain current working knowledge of Wheels Up aircraft fleet and product offerings
  • Perform all other duties and/or special projects, as assigned by the VP of Wholesale or higher authority

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements

We’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do:

  • Previous customer service or sales experience
  • Knowledge of aircraft performance capabilities
  • Ability to calculate trip revenue, cost, margin/margin percentage, rate per hour, and manage complex network operating scenarios
  • Awareness of Key Performance Indicators in decision making
  • Candidates must have a passion for problem solving, with a willingness to accept change and start from scratch on a routine basis
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of aircraft performance capabilities
  • Proficient with Slack, Excel, and Outlook
  • Creative problem resolution skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed (including holidays, weekends and evening hours, as required)
  • The ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with internal and external customers

What We Offer

Salary Range & Benefits

At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The yearly compensation for this role ranges from $65,000 - $85,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you will be eligible for commission, which compensates individual performance.
