Responsibilities

Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will provide strategic leadership to a cross-functional pod, driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. You will oversee sales performance, manage key member relationships, and lead initiatives to enhance the overall Wheels Up client experience.

 

Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Establish strategic plans and objectives focusing on organic and inorganic growth
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share and achieve organizational goals
  • Ownership of sales targets for specified business unit or region
  • Forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to executive leadership
  • Lead a pod of cross-functional team members with full accountability for client satisfaction, retention, and profitability
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure high performance and professional growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, proactively managing re-deposits, upsells, and renewals
  • Convert qualified leads into new Wheels Up members through consultative selling and relationship development
  • Serve as the primary client contact for high-touch service, including onboarding, trip planning, and post-flight follow-up
  • Collaborate with Client Support and Trip Support to resolve day-of-travel issues and ensure seamless execution

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements

We’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do:

  • Proven experience in relationship management, account management or client services
  • Strong strategic sales background with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum of 10-15+ years of sales leadership and/or relationship management experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proven enterprise sales leader with deep experience hunting, converting and growing corporate and consulting relationships at strategic level
  • Strong "hunter" mentality with a demonstrated track record of opening new business, building pipelines, and driving revenue growth in complex sales environments
  • Existing  relationships and credibility within the corporate travel, consulting, aviation, luxury service, or enterprise partnership space preferred
  • Travel 50%

  • Standard office and computer usage required
  • Occasional travel or client meetings may be expected

What We Offer

Salary Range & Benefits

At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The yearly compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, which rewards individual and organizational performance.
