Responsibilities

Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing

The Senior Manager, Wholesale will serve as the key operational and sales leader supporting the Vice President of Wholesale. Acting as the VP’s day-to-day partner and delegate, this role ensures consistent execution of team priorities, helps oversee daily sales and account management functions, and drives performance across the wholesale channel. They will also be responsible for delivering strong sales performance and achieving high revenue targets. The Senior Manager, Wholesale will help manage a team of sales executives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and seamless coordination with internal partners across operations, finance, and revenue management.

 

Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Execute the company’s wholesale sales strategy to maximize aircraft utilization and revenue.
  • Driving revenue through by hitting personal sales goals.
  • Support the VP in managing key broker, operator, and distribution partnerships.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and emerging market segments.
  • Oversee implementation of commercial agreements, pricing initiatives, and revenue optimization tactics.
  • Lead day-to-day activities of the wholesale sales team, ensuring accountability, responsiveness, and service excellence.
  • Partner with Revenue Management, Fleet Operations, and Finance to balance demand and meet yield and margin goals.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and CRM data integrity to support insights and decision-making.
  • Represent the company in select industry engagements and assist with partnership reviews and proposals.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements

We’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales or account management, including 2+ years of people management.
  • Proven success driving revenue growth through both client acquisition, retention and expansion.
  • Experience within private aviation required; Floating fleet experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales teams and execute defined strategies while maintaining profitability.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and D365 CRM preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to influence across teams and at senior levels.
  • Established network within private aviation broker and operator communities.

  • Standard office and computer usage required
  • Must be willing and able to work nonstandard hours, including weekends, nights and holidays as needed

What We Offer: Salary Range & Benefits

At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you will be eligible for a variable commission plan.
