Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing

The Sr. People Experience & Insights Analyst is responsible for designing, measuring, and improving the employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. This role combines employee experience design, organizational psychology, workforce analytics, assessment strategy, employee listening, and People technology administration to help Wheels Up make better people decisions and create stronger employee experience.

Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Employee Experience Design

  • Design and improve employee experiences across onboarding, development, performance, and career growth.
  • Map key employee lifecycle moments and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with HRLT and business leaders to create meaningful employee experiences.
  • Measure employee sentiment and develop recommendations to improve engagement and retention.
  • Support culture and employee experience initiatives across Wheels Up.

Employee Listening & Organizational Insights

  • Design, administer, and analyze employee surveys.
  • Develop pulse surveys, onboarding surveys, engagement surveys, and targeted listening initiatives.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of employee feedback.
  • Identify themes, trends, opportunities, and emerging risks.
  • Translate employee feedback into actionable business recommendations.
  • Develop executive-ready reports, presentations, and dashboards.

Assessment & Talent Analytics

  • Manage assessment programs supporting recruiting, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Partner with stakeholders on assessment selection, implementation, and effectiveness reviews.
  • Analyze assessment outcomes and provide leadership insights.
  • Support validation efforts and measurement of talent effectiveness.

Workforce Analytics & Data Storytelling

  • Create and maintain People dashboards and workforce reporting.
  • Develop recurring HR scorecards and leadership reporting.
  • Analyze employee data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Present workforce insights in a clear and compelling way.
  • Support executive decision making through data-driven recommendations.
  • Build visualizations and reporting tools that simplify complex workforce information.

People Technology Administration

  • Serve as administrator for FLX learning and onboarding platforms.
  • Maintain learning pathways, assignments, and employee onboarding experiences within FLX.
  • Support talent review and performance management processes.
  • Support iCIMS administration, reporting, configuration, testing, and optimization.
  • Ensure data integrity across People systems.
  • Partner on HR technology enhancements and system improvements.

Process Design & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate and improve People processes through technology and automation.
  • Support implementation of new People programs and tools.
  • Document processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Partner with stakeholders on employee experience and operational improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements

We’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do which includes a strong quantitative graduate degree combined with extensive experience in people analytics, workforce planning, organizational research, and statistical analysis.

 

Required:

  • 4-6 years of related experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Analytics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, workforce research, and survey analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and analyzing employee engagement surveys, organizational health assessments, talent metrics, and workforce trends.
  • Proven ability to deliver data-driven storytelling and strategic workforce insights.
  • Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Experience leveraging Alteryx for data preparation, automation, modeling, and workforce analytics reporting.
  • Experience working with complex datasets from HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP Workforce Now, Oracle HCM, UKG, or similar systems.

While not mandatory, here are some additional things that would make you stand out:

  • Master’s degree in industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Analytics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience supporting global organizations and multinational workforces.
  • Familiarity with research design, psychometrics, validation studies, and assessment analytics.
  • Experience developing AI-enabled workforce insights and advanced workforce planning models.

  • This position primarily involves computer-based work in a professional office or remote work environment.
  • Frequent use of a computer, including viewing monitors and using a keyboard and mouse for extended periods.
  • Regular communication with stakeholders through virtual meetings, presentations, email, and written reports.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data, reports, and visualizations.
  • Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.

What We Offer

Salary Range & Benefits

At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The yearly compensation for this role ranges from $85,000 - $100,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table.
