Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing

Wheels Up is seeking a Fleet Quoting Associate to join our dedicated private aviation team. This role supports our mission to make private aviation more accessible through innovative technology, products, and service offerings. Fleet Quoting focuses on capturing demand outside traditional membership programs by pricing and selling fleet opportunities effectively. This position may be remote or based in our New York City, NY or Chamblee, GA offices. 

Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions) 

  • Meet team KPIs for utilization, efficiency, and revenue, while understanding how each decision affects those metrics. 
  • Understand flight-level costs and network revenue models. 
  • Maintain a strong understanding of booked demand to identify complementary selling opportunities. 
  • Target demand that supports the operational and commercial needs of each day. 
  • Monitor special events that may drive demand to specific airports or regions. 
  • Recognize seasonal travel patterns by geography and cabin class. 
  • Be prepared to justify pricing decisions clearly and confidently. 
  • Stay closely aligned with Scheduling and Operations to confirm feasibility and support successful trip execution. 
  • Manage multiple trip inquiries at once. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers. 
  • Respond to charter-related calls and emails promptly and accurately. 
  • Understand and explain the terms and conditions of the Wheels Up charter contract. 
  • Maintain current knowledge of the Wheels Up fleet and product offerings. 
  • Complete other duties or special projects as assigned by the VP of Wholesale or higher authority.

  • Selling profitable wholesale trips 
  • Maintaining disciplined pricing 
  • Reducing empty-leg exposure 
  • Responding quickly to inbound quote requests 
  • Following up on as many quotes as possible 
  • Strengthening broker relationships 
  • Protecting peak days and premium inventory 

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements 

We’re looking for someone with the right mix of experience, analytical skill, relationship-building ability, and passion for private aviation. 

  • Previous charter sales or related charter experience 
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft performance capabilities 
  • Ability to calculate trip revenue, cost, margin, margin percentage, hourly rate, and complex network scenarios 
  • Awareness of how KPIs should inform decision-making 
  • A problem-solving mindset and willingness to adapt quickly as conditions change 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment 
  • Proficiency with Teams, Excel, Avinode, and Outlook 
  • Creative approach to problem resolution 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and evenings as needed 
  • Availability for a likely Wednesday-to-Saturday or Friday-to-Monday schedule 
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with internal and external customers

What We Offer

Salary Range & Benefits

At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The yearly compensation for this role ranges from $65,000 - $85,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you will be eligible for an incentive program (commission), which rewards individual and organizational performance.
